Soon to be history as the WHR extends to Portmadoc . Seen here a journey up the line in May 2008.

The Chermin de Fer de la Bai de Somme Gala a few years ago. The line is partialy dual gauge , hence the presence of the KESR 'P' class loco . There were also main line steam specials running from the interchange station at Noyelles . This 'Y' shaped junction has a line to Le Crotoy to the North and St Valery and onward to 'Brighton Plage' at Cayeux in the south. The section to St Valery is dual gauge. It is an easy day trip from SE England.

French 60cm gauge that can trace it's lineage directly back to the railways of WW1 . It features a tunnel of claustrapobic dimensions , a zig-zag and a loco roster to die for. The Museum has a fine collection of locos as well . As is usual on a Gala day in France there was a band on the platform so all incidental music is 'live'!

On the former WW1 60cm gauge trench railway preserved as the CFCD, a rare Alco-Cooke 2-6-2T in action during the end of season steam gala.
